It is easy to see a child's struggle as 'bad behaviour' or a choice, when in fact every difficult behaviour is a result of an internal feeling, thought or experience that the child is finding hard to process and manage.

Why this course?

Our CPD Certified Therapeutic Teaching Course consists of six modules designed to help you embed an approach to behaviour that is trauma-informed, attachment aware and based on neuroscience. Learn to develop a therapeutic, connective teaching style that makes a real tangible difference to every child’s mental health and life skills.

The Therapeutic Teaching approach acknowledges that there is always a feeling behind every difficult behaviour a child displays. Our role as adults is to help guide and teach children- developing their emotional intelligence and self-awareness in a trauma informed way that puts connection first.

This course will help you upskill and support children to understand their own mental health and wellbeing, providing long-lasting impact.

We take the focus away from trying to stop negative behaviour and on to what is going on behind the behaviour.
