H. Bauer Appoints MediaEdge CIA for TV Buying

H. Bauer Publishing announces the appointment of MediaEdge CIA as its new media buying agency.

H. Bauer, in its 20th year this year, put its £3 million media buying account out to pitch in March and selected MediaEdge CIA from a shortlist of four very strong candidates.

Last year Bauer restructured its media planning and buying operations by separating them and moving planning to EGS (Edwards Groom & Saunders). Will Saunders of EGS had previously been working on the Bauer account for several years before setting up the new agency. Starcom retained the buying element.

The creative account stays at Mustoes, who have handled the business since 1996.
