H. Bauer Publishing Successful in Bid for Emap

H. Bauer Publishing has reached an agreement with Emap regarding the sale of the latter's Consumer Media and Radio divisions. This is the first important step in a process which is still awaiting shareholder approval.
The Emap portfolio includes some of the leading consumer magazines in the UK.
"The planned purchase of Emap fits perfectly with our current strategy for international expansion" comments Heinz Bauer.
